The CTIA (Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association based in
USA),
has made 7 layers the first fully qualified CTIA Authorized Test Lab (CATL),
specifically for GSM testing. Due to this status we can now offer
terminal manufacturers an add-on qualification service, ensuring them as
better position on the North American market.

The Bluetooth® Qualification Review Board has made 7 layers Ratingen the
first officially accredited Bluetooth® Qualification Test Facility (BQTF),
thus confirming our up-to-date, high quality Bluetooth® services.

3G test services and product development support is needed urgently.
Therefore 7 layers has established its new 3G service portfolio.
Focussing on the urgent request for early product testing, 7 layers
develops provisional test cases now, before official 3GPP test suites
and test cases are available.

7 layers has set up a new office in Japan. Japanese clients and clients
from other Asian countries who wish to bring their wireless
communications products to the European or US market without
complications and in a most efficient manner can find direct support

launch of its new laboratories on 16th May 2001.

After a lot of development concerning the Bluetooth® technology and
Bluetooth® test procedures 7 layers has decided to offer the timely
workshop "Bluetooth® 1.1. challenges" on April 5th, 2001, where you will
obtain detailed information on core specifications, qualification
process, test solutions and practical testing.
