Setting-up Bluetooth® test laboratories
7 layers offers various methods of setting up, controlling, maintaining and supporting Bluetooth® test laboratories via our InterLab® system. InterLab® laboratories can be established for a single test set-up as well as for complete Bluetooth® qualification test laboratories.

Script Engine
The ready to use InterLab® Protocol Script Engine for Bluetooth® provides a cost effective solution for Bluetooth® testing. It is an add-on to the PTW 60, offering you complete control over the instrument via a user-friendly graphical interface running on a standard personal computer. Combining the PTW 60 with the InterLab® script engine means, that developers can easily implement their own customized test cases. Such test cases can go above and beyond those for the Bluetooth® Qualification program, allowing a simple method of thoroughly testing in any conceivable way.

Reference Design testing and Fast Track Qualification
Thanks to the structure of the InterLab® system, 7 layers can offer highly efficient services in this sector. If manufacturers have their components or reference designs tested and qualified at a 7 layers BQTF, 7 layers then provides the results via InterLab® to other InterLab® laboratories if required. This information is then readily available for test projects of end-user products, which can be optimized thanks to the available information. Afterwards 7 layers takes care of all updates concerning components and reference designs. This way component and reference design manufacturers can offer their clients a unique service which will help them to get their products through the qualification process as fast and as easy as possible.
