First facility for Bluetooth test and qualification services in USA
BABT Product Service, Inc. and 7 layers are announcing the completion of the first facility built exclusively for final test and qualification of Bluetooth wirless technology products. The cooperation combines the leading edge Bluetooth experience of the 7 layers specialists with the ecxellent outfit of the BABT Bluetooth laboratory.

Work at "ritt7layers" now in full progress
"ritt7layers", the joint venture of RITT (research institute of telecommunications transmission) and 7 layers in Beijing has taken up its full service program now. "ritt7layers" offers development, testing and certification services to Chinese terminal manufacturers and eases market access to China for non Chinese manufacturers.

New test facility set-up, operational by February 2001
7 layers is setting up an independent test facility for Bluetooth, GSM and GPRS in a JV with TTPCom in Cambridge, UK.

7 Bluetooth products already listed by 7 layers' BQB's!
The 7 layers "time to market" attitude has been demonstrated again. 7 out of the nine Bluetooth qualified products have been listed by 7 layers BQB's already. This indicates how Bluetooth manufacturers can benefit from the 7 layers' leadership in the Bluetooth development and test know-how.

From 26th to 28th September 2000 a Bluetooth Conference and Workshop will take place in London (UK), organized by Euroforum. 7 layers will host an additional workshop on the 28th September.

World's first network for the qualification of Bluetooth products established
The TÜV Rheinland/Berlin-Brandenburg and 7 layers have agreed on a worldwide cooperation. With the support of 7 layers test laboratories of the TÜV will be developed into Bluetooth test centres. The synchronisation of Bluetooth test laboratories by 7 layers will lead to a development, testing and certification cycle which guarantees conformity and interoperability of Bluetooth products.
