7 layers has been officially listed by the FCC

The FCC has confirmed that 7 layers' test facilities in Ratingen (Germany) are in compliance with requirements of the FCC. The Federal Communications Commission will therefore accept 7 layers tests for certification under part 15, 18 and 24 (PCS).

This means that EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) and Radio testing at 7 layers can prove that your products comply to US standards as well as European standards.

Successful testing according to FCC standards is an important prerequisite to market your GSM products, new Bluetooth products and other communications products in the USA.
